Strategic Guidance Leads Investors to $10M Purchase of Software Development firm

Mr. Murphy directed the development and launch of a new Lotus Notes/DB2 software product, as interim EVP for Emerging Technology Solutions, in conjunction with IBM.  The project involved formulating the business plan governing the relationship between IBM and Emerging Technology, and overseeing all operations for developing the software, which garnered an award from IBM for building the best Internet-based application using Lotus Notes.

The project's success captured the attention of an investors group that purchased Emerging Technology for $10 million.
