Assumed interim executive management roles in client technology organizations:

  • As interim COO for The UserTrust Network, a PKI Certifying Authority, integrally guided the technology startup, encompassing computer systems, financial and human management systems, security and change control.
  • Strategically directed the development and launch of a new Lotus Notes/DB2 software product, as interim EVP for Emerging Technology Solutions, in conjunction with IBM.
    • Formulated the business plan governing the relationship between IBM and Emerging Technology.
    • Garnered an award from IBM for building the best Internet-based application using Lotus Notes.
    • Captured the attention of an investors group that purchased Emerging Technology for $10 million.

In capacity as Director of the Electronics and Telecommunications Evaluation Center, Office of The Secretary of Defense (Attached to National Security Agency), established and maintained extensive contacts at all echelons and departments within foreign electronics/telecommunications corporations and governmental entities.  Conceived, implemented and directed a national data storage and retrieval system containing information relating to worldwide research and development of communications and electronics.

Presided as Circuit Court Magistrate for Falls Church, Fairfax County, Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Administered oaths and received testimony.
  • Determined probable cause for issuing warrants, subpoenas and summons.
  • Interviewed and arraigned prisoners.
